The introductory model, B4, is equipped with four arms, two fluid circuits, four guns per circuit. Maximum production speed is 20 ft./min. Automatic spray gun tracking along with spray tip distance to the part is our key to success. These two factors along with narrower fan patterns account for reduced overspray in the spray cabin. You get more coating on the part and less on the belt or in the air. You will get a high quality uniform finish and better edge coverage. Delivers the best actual application efficiency (up to 27% better) when compared to reciprocating machines.
After the part detector "reads" the size, shape, and its position on the conveyor belt the real time, multifunction PLC control system automatically monitors belt speed and carousel rotation speed. The PLC will then fire the spray guns when they are only over a part.
The segmented conveyor allows for the most efficient airflow through the machine. Exhausted air volume is only 5,000 CFM. Up to 95% of the solid particulate matter is efficiently captured in the accordion filter media. An optional water wash filtration system can improve the final air filtration to up to 99%.
The conveyor is comprised of nine stainless steel bands with a width of 63". The segmented design assures the most efficient airflow through the spray cabin. The conveyor is easy to clean and maintain. It is impervious to all coatings. The stainless steel bands will outlast conventional wide belts.
Working with the real time multifunction PLC, the 189 "send/receive" cells on the part detection device reads the size, shape and the part's position on the conveyor belt. The PLC then fires the spray guns only when they are over the parts. The overspray pattern is adjustable. Coating savings is realized when the overspray pattern is set to minimum.
The secret to our success! The rotation speed of the rotary carousel is virtually limitless. This allows for the fastest possible production speeds (up to 60 ft./min.) without sacrificing quality. The automatic spray gun positioning system maintains a spray gun fan pattern overlap that optimizes color consistency. This ensures perfect uniform streak-free coverage along with the best edge coverage. The life of the fluid distributor has been increased due to our improved design and its vibration free movement.
As a condition of the efficient air flow through the spray cabin, the exhaust only consumes 5,000 CFM of air. More filtration area allows for less changeover and lower maintenance costs.
The simple and low maintenance mechanism recovers what little coating overspray is deposited onto the conveyor bands. It pulls out for easy maintenance. Reusing the recovered coating can reduce your operating costs.
Equipped with a solvent circulating pump, simple scouring pads and squeegees, the conveyor bands are effectively cleaned on every revolution. The assembly pulls out for easy maintenance.
